Teamwork in Wrigleyville.

Thanks to a friend with connections, I ended up with a decent seat at today's Cubs game. The rain delay, while annoying in that standard rain-delay sort of way, was probably the most interesting part of the game (although there were some rather nice catches as well.) I have never been to a game with a rain delay, and the grounds team all seemed to know exactly what to do and managed to cover, partially uncover, re-cover, and finally completely uncover the field very quickly. It was impressive to watch.

It made me wonder, though; how much does it cost Major League Baseball to cancel or postpone a game for rain?
