The Motley Fool reports on speculation that the delay in the release of The Order of the Phoenix has dampened enthusiam for the series in Harry Potter Rides Again.
Some worry the fifth book's delay has dampened enthusiasm for the series. That may be true, but then each year brings a new crop of readers old enough to begin reading the books. And sometimes absence makes the heart grow fonder.
You must be kidding me. I just finished reading the first four books in French, which I did partly for French practice and partly to force me to read them slowly and enjoy the story more. I have two conflicting appointments already on June 21st, and now I'm trying to figure out how to get out of them BOTH so that I can be at home to receive my order from Amazon. It doesn't look like they've updated their page yet to allow pre-purchase, although when Goblet of Fire was released you were able to pre-order and get Saturday morning delivery, right to your home--you could start reading by 11am without waiting in line or needing to get out of your pyjamas.
