Brian St. Pierre is of course correct when he says that "'cookie cutter' tools to oppose the creation of a police state have to be ratcheted up to the next level." Posters are not the way to do that because they appeal to people like me, who are already aware, rather than people who need to be convinced, who will likely ignore that much text.
But Brian is right. Convince your locality to officially bad laws like the PATRIOT Act; vote; run for office...all actions that are more likely to have an effect on the debate.
But I still like the posters. Perhaps just because they make me smile, because they reflect what I already feel.
